Text Message Consent

This page explains how patients of Eastern Washington Implants and Periodontics agree to receive text messages from our practice.

Consent is given verbally, over the phone. We do not collect text message consent through any form on this website.

How patients agree

When a patient schedules by phone, our staff ask for permission before adding their number for text messages, using this script:

While I have you, would it be alright if we texted you at this number about your appointments and your care with us? You can reply STOP at any time and we will stop.

If the patient agrees, our staff record that agreement in the patient's record along with the date.

Stopping messages

Patients can reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for assistance. They can also call any of our offices and ask us to remove their number.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
