Free consultation

Tell us how to reach you. We'll call to find a time.

No referral needed. If you'd rather talk now, call 509-783-5722, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. Parents are welcome to book for a teenager.

Please keep it brief. A name, a phone number and a sentence such as "lower wisdom tooth keeps swelling" is plenty. Please don't include medical history, insurance numbers or photos. This is an ordinary website form, not a secure medical portal, and we'll take those details safely when we speak.

Why people come to us for wisdom teeth

Wisdom teeth are removed here by Dr. Abdullah Alkanan and Dr. Muhammad Saleh, surgical specialists who take teeth out every week. Most of our patients are nervous about it, so sedation is part of the normal day here, not a special request.

What happens at your free consultation

We take a 3D CBCT scan. Lower wisdom tooth roots can sit close to the nerve that gives feeling to your lip and chin, and a flat x-ray can't show how close. The scan can. Then we go through it with you on the screen, tell you which teeth really need to come out (not always all four), and explain your sedation options. You leave with a clear plan and a date if you want one.

Does it hurt?

Not during. You're fully numb, and most patients choose to be sedated as well, in which case there's nothing to experience at all. Afterward, expect soreness and swelling that peak around day two or three and then fade quickly. Most people manage with ibuprofen and are back at work or school by day three.

Sleeping through it

IV sedation is given here by Dr. Alkanan. You're deeply relaxed and nearly everyone remembers nothing of it. If you'd rather be fully asleep, a certified registered nurse anesthetist comes to our office for general anesthesia, often chosen when all four impacted teeth come out together. Either way, bring someone to drive you home.

Should you be seen?

  • Pain, swelling or a bad taste around a back tooth that keeps coming back
  • Food packing behind your last molar
  • Trouble opening your mouth fully
  • Your dentist pointed out an angled wisdom tooth on an x-ray

If your wisdom teeth are straight, cleanable and causing no trouble, we'll tell you to leave them alone. More about wisdom teeth, recovery and dry socket.

Cost & financing

What it costs, and how people pay for it.

We can't put a real number on a webpage, because the honest answer depends on what your exam and 3D scan show. What we can promise is that you'll get a written treatment plan with an exact figure on it before you commit to anything. No surprises added later.

Most patients have some insurance coverage, and we'll check yours and tell you what it will and won't pay. For the balance, we work with three financing companies so you can spread the cost over time — many patients qualify for plans with no interest if paid within the promotional period.

  • CareCredit
  • Proceed Finance
  • LendingClub

Ask us at your consultation and we'll walk you through the options and the monthly numbers.
